Create a 40-second, 1920×1080 explainer on how TV broadcasts paint a virtual first-down line onto an American football field so it looks drawn on the grass, with players appearing to walk over it. Keep it general and accurate at a high level: calibrated cameras with sensors reporting pan, tilt and zoom; a 3D model of the field; a colour keyer that decides which pixels are grass; and the line composited only on those pixels, every frame. Don't name companies or networks.
Look: diagram style: field green #2E7D3A with white yard lines, the virtual line in bright yellow #FFD400, UI panels charcoal #1C1F24, labels white SF Pro Text 28 pt, step numbers in SF Mono. Players are simple capsule figures in red #D9473A and blue #2F6FD8.
Beats:
- 0.0–5.0s: a top-down field draws on yard by yard. A football icon sits at the 35. The question types: "How is this line drawn?" A yellow line sweeps across the field at the 45.
- 5.0–12.0s: step 1, the camera: a camera icon on a stand at the sideline; three sensor dials (pan, tilt, zoom) spin as the camera moves; a cone of view sweeps the field in 2.5D.
- 12.0–19.0s: step 2, the field model: the field tilts into perspective (rotationX) and a wireframe grid overlays it; the yellow line is placed on the grid at the right yard.
- 19.0–27.0s: step 3, which pixels are grass: a colour swatch panel shows several greens being picked; a player figure walks across, and a mask view shows the player in black, grass in white.
- 27.0–34.0s: step 4, composite: the line is drawn only where the mask is white; the player walks over the line and it stays under their feet. A "every frame" counter ticks 1→60.
- 34.0–40.0s: recap: four small icons in a row (camera, grid, mask, line) with arrows drawing between them. Small "Made with Layerz Canvas" sign-off.
Craft notes: one concept per step; labels appear before motion; the yellow line is the only yellow on screen; no specific dates, prices or company claims.
