The prompt behind it

Prompt

Build this in Layerz Canvas using the layerz-canvas MCP.

Make a 20-second data-story promo for charts in Layerz Canvas, delivered in two versions: a 1920×1080 landscape artboard and a 1080×1920 portrait artboard. Build landscape first, then re-compose (not just crop) the same beats for portrait. Import the supplied fast music track into both and land every chart reveal on a beat.

Look: background #0E1116, panels #171B22, text #F2F4F7, secondary #8B93A1. Chart palette: violet #7C5CFF, aqua #39D0D8, lime #A6E35A, coral #FF7A6B. SF Pro Display heavy for big numbers, SF Mono for axes.

Beats (both versions):
- 0–3s: "Numbers are boring." in big type. A strike-through line draws across "boring" and "beautiful" drops in above it.
- 3–7s: Bar chart of a week of illustrative values grows in, bars rising in a stagger of 0.08s with spring tops; the tallest bar flashes coral and a counter above it rolls up.
- 7–11s: The bars morph into a line chart (aqua) whose line draws across; a dot rides the line and stops at the peak with a label.
- 11–15s: The line's area fills in violet, then the whole chart collapses into a donut that sweeps open in four colours, the centre counting to 100%.
- 15–20s: Donut slides aside; the chevron mark and "Charts that move. Layerz Canvas." settle in.

Portrait re-composition: stack chart above headline, enlarge numbers to fill width, move labels inside the bars, and keep all text inside a 120pt safe margin top and bottom.

Craft notes: every value is labelled as illustrative in small grey text; chart transitions are morphs, not cuts; both versions share identical timing so they can be posted side by side.

Edit it yourself

  • Change colours, text and type in the inspector.
  • Drag keyframes, reshape easing curves and retime any move.
  • Ask Claude for changes through the MCP, then fine-tune by hand.
  • Export it as an image, a video, Lottie or a web page like this one.
